Seed of Life Center for Early Learning and Preschool, Inc is looking to hiring (4) teachers for the following positions: Infant classroom at SOL Main and (1) teacher for the B & A at SOL Orca school program, (1) teacher for the Preschool/Pre-K at SOL RB, and (1) teacher for the Preschool/Pre-K at SOL MLK classroom to become a part of the SOL community.
We are a for-profit center, which has a low staff turnover in staff and children. SOL is multi-lingual and multi-cultural. *Multi-lingual or bi-lingual, and providers of color are highly encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications:
*Education qualification consists of an AA in Early Childhood Education or BA in ECE or related field with equivalent credits for a major in ECE. In addition to Infant and Child CPR, Food Handlers Permit, First Aid, COVID vaccination, Blood borne Pathogens and STARS.
*Full-time teacher position with a starting salary of $49,920 with benefits (50% medical, 100% Dental, 401K Retirement, Education, Staff Planning). Full-time positions available. This is an annual contract, and we are looking for continuity of care and low staff turn-over. Education will determine rate of pay.

Seed of Life Center for Early Leaning and Preschool, Inc. welcomes volunteers and facilitates opportunities for families to meet with one another. SOL offers a list serve and host several cultural events where collaborative efforts provide support and networking opportunities for the families and communities served. SOL administrators, staffs, families, and community partners plan events; events occur throughout the day or in the evening to support full participation for the families and communities we serve. Also, translation is provided for all cultural events and childcare is provided for evening events at no additional cost.
Throughout the school year we offer several opportunities for parent(s) and guardian(s) to volunteer their time. Parent(s)/guardian(s) are encouraged to be involved leadership roles that consist of fundraising, teacher appreciation, beautification, scholastic book orders, and marketing. In addition, to being encouraged to participate in luncheons, celebrations, curriculum night, kindergarten enrollment nights, kindergarten readiness night, informative secessions, and parent/teacher conferences.
Volunteer parent(s)/guardian(s) are welcome for field trips and requested if needed. All parent volunteers are required to fill out a criminal history background check and have a cleared criminal history prior to attending field trips.
SOL is a service-learning site, which allows either college of high school students to receive college credits or community hours while in school. Typically, individuals that volunteer at SOL are students from the local high schools, Seattle Central Community College, University of Washington, Seattle Youth Employment Program, or ReWa.
